Im 130 miles from the garage, so couldnt just 'pop in' to view, but a few calls with Craig and I was reassured the car was right for me. Also got a fair px price for my old car. On pickup, everything was as described, and all paperwork done on under 20mins. Very happy with the car, and even happier with the overall service received, to the point that come the time to swap the main family car later this year, I will be back on his website, or call to see if he can source what Im after. Buying a second hand car can be stressful, and this was the complete opposite - very refreshing

George and Craig are proper genuine and nice blokes and really helped explain the process of reserving, finance etc. George even drove us home after our viewing and test drive of the car, as well as picked us up when we went to purchase the car fully.

George did not have to make exceptions for my job and was as professional as it comes and a real credit to the business he has built in Clitheroe
The car was priced very competitively to start and was exactly as described with an accurate description and photos. It was a quality car which was prepared to a high standard and attention to detail was not missed in any area. This is what you need from any dealer and being someone in this profession I knew what to look for. The first time I looked at the car I could tell it had been prepared correctly and way above the standard of most main dealers I have been around for the last 30 years+.

I contacted George about a car I would like to go and view. From the start, he was friendly and pleasent to deal with. When I arrived, he gave me a warm welcome and let me have the space to properly view the car and test drive it. He wasn't remotely pushy, something that I think you can sometimes end up feeling in these situations. I decided I would buy the car, so put a holding deposit down. A few days later I realised the car wasn't perhaps the best fit for our lifestyle at the moment. The car itself was great, it was my own issue. I contacted George about it and explained. He was so nice about it - he didn't need to be and I wouldn't have blamed him if he wasn't either. He didn't make me feel silly or like a time-waster. He even, very kindly and unexpectedly, returned me the holding deposit. George seems like a really nice, genuine man and I would totally recommend him to anyone looking for a new car.

I have to say this was one of my better experiences in buying a car, due the Covid19 lockdown the whole transaction was conducted via WhatsApp and text, with a couple of telephone calls prior to delivery. George Cocks, Ribble Cars representative, was brilliant during the whole process, sending extra pictures and a video of the vehicle, and he even delivered the vehicle to my door (a 280 mile round trip), the vehicle was as described, great service, I could not have asked for more.

If I could give 6 stars on this I would. I bought a car from George over the phone and how he dealt with me was by far the best iv ever been treated while buying a car. I live in Ireland and could not find the car I wanted here.

I came across ribble cars on Ebay and just emailed to enquire about a car and within a week I had the car I was looking for with all the guarantees with it to put my mind at ease. I work in the motor trade and I must say iv never seen or had this kind of service from a motor trader. I will definitely return to George for my next car.

All you need to know....

I have bought a car from George without physically seen, touch or inspect the car.
What I have seen it was the photos from his website and eBay.
The car it was for export so I had to pay the vat until the car was in the Vessel to final destination something I did not like.
Soon as the documents from the export company been send to George --- BOOM--- he return the vat back with no questions and NO delays"¦.
A month after I have purchase the car, it arrive in final destination exactly what I have seen in the previous photos"¦.
I have to say that I have send money to someone I have NEVER met for a car I did not see but believe it or not I got what I pay in the UK in the other site of the world.

George I have to say that everyone I said this to him was laughing and mocking me that I have through my money into the money pit,,,,,,,,,,
No regrets at all,,,

Bought my 2012 Audi A6 Avant from George while trading in my 2009 Toyota Prius. George is a complete gentleman! His communication is a cut above other garages. I live in Scotland so I travelled over 220 miles to come and get the car and every step of the way George would keep me up to date with the progress.
